Intrastat

Use 'corrections' and identify 'errors'

Intrastat is required for HMRC Reporting.

Answer Intrastat utilises data from several modules:

• Purchasing - Arrivals
• Sales Order Processing - Despatches

Additional data from Inventory Management, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and Currency Rate information is utilised when required.

Despatches in Answer are:

• Sales Shipments
• Purchase Returns
• Outgoing Inventory Centre Transfers

Arrivals in Answer are:

• Purchase Receipts
• Sales Returns
• Incoming Inventory Centre Transfers

Answer Intrastat will also manage 'Corrections', normally related to good received in one period and invoiced in another at a different value. This results in a 'Correction' being required.

During the Answer Intrastat extract processing any 'Errors' identified are highlighted, can be corrected and the Intrastat extract reprocessed. Errors typically are data set up issues i.e. missing commodity codes, no net weight and so on.
All appropriate reporting is available within the Intrastat facilities in Answer.
